leader of the British Labor Party Keir Starmer

The leader of the British Labor Party acknowledged the growing poverty of children in the country.

Iran PressEurope: "The British Conservative government has been critical of the Conservative government's policies, especially on low-income families," said Keir Starmer.

If the process of ignoring child poverty continues, the number of poor children in this country will reach five million and two hundred thousand in the next two years.

The leader of the British Labor Party, in a question-and-answer session with the British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in the House of Commons, added: "The outbreak of the coronavirus will probably increase the poverty of children."

Starmer also accused the British government of lacking scientific support for the decisions and their successive changes.

The British Prime Minister objected to Starmer's remarks, saying the government had retained 11 million jobs at risk and paid 11 million for job creation.

Johnson's claim comes at a time when, according to government statistics, with the spread of the coronavirus, economic problems in Britain have risen sharply, and the economy has shrunk compared to the last year 2019.
