Iran Press/Europe: In her message to the Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Bisera Turkovi? expressed solidarity with Iran’s nation and government and sympathized with them over the victims of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Earlier, Christoph Hamelmann, World Health Organization (WHO) Representative also appreciated the efforts of Iran's health system in dealing with coronavirus.
Elsewhere Hamelmann said there have been tremendous developments in fighting against COVID-19 in Iran.
According to the latest figures of Iran's Health Ministry on Friday, more than 35,000 COVID-19 patients have recovered across the country, the number of patients with this disease has reached 68,192 and 4,232 people have lost their lives in the country to date.
Worldwide, there are now more than 1.6 million confirmed cases of coronavirus but from that number close to 354,000 have already recovered and death toll inches closer to 100,000.
