Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah

Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement denounced Germany blacklisting of the movement.

Iran Press/Middle East: "Germany failed to submit any proof of terrorist acts allegedly attributed to Hezbollah," Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said in a televised speech on Monday.

"Germany decision to ban Hezbollah was expected as it has come in response to the US pressures," he went on to say.

Hezbollah's secretary-general noted, "We are honest when we declare that we do not have a group in Germany, France or anything, and we have not had a group in the world for many years, especially in Europe or Latin America. We've known for years that we don't want to bother our loved ones abroad because of being connected to any group."

Nasrallah praised the stance of some countries and governments that condemned Germany's action against Hezbollah.

He then stressed the need to continue to confront the occupying Zionist regime and defend the Lebanese people.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Nasrallah calls on the Lebanese government to protect the expatriates in Germany because Hezbollah intervention in this issue has a different nature

"Hezbollah has decided to avoid having any organized existence abroad in order to avoid involving followers in the foreign countries in troubles and embarrassing situations," he said. 

Talking about the approval of the financial plan in Lebanon to improve the situation in the country and the invitation of the President Michel Aoun from the factions to hold a meeting in the palace to study the next steps of  this plan, he said that the plan needed national support and that Michelle Aoun had been invited to do so.

Nasrallah also stressed that Lebanon is now in a difficult and dangerous economic situation and that the country must be saved. “Therefore, political differences must be put aside.

He went on to report on some media reports and alleged accusations orchestrated against Hezbollah that the movement intended to gain access to the economic sector and the destruction of the banking sector and the like, calling them a media war against Hezbollah. 101
