Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kadhimi

Iraqi Prime Minister-designate has said that he will form a cabinet to tackle Iraq's crises and find solutions.

Iran PressMiddle East: "Iraq faces economic, health, and security challenges. I will form a cabinet to tackle these crises and find solutions," Mustafa al-Kadhimi wrote in a tweet on Monday.

"I will only accept what is in the true interest of Iraq, and reject any pressure aimed at undermining it. We should all prioritize what is best for our country," he added.

One of the top priorities for the Iraqi Prime Minister-designate Mustafa al-Kadhimi is to pursue the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq, which has become a public demand.

There have been reports that the list of new Iraqi ministers will be released soon.

Al-Kadhimi had previously said that consultations are underway to form a government in a friendly environment and that the goal is to form a clean, governmental team that can deal with crises and meet the needs of the nation.
