Iraqi President Barham Salih on Thursday 9 April named Mustafa al-Kazemi as Prime Minister-designate to form a new government within 30 days hoping to put an end to the current political deadlock in this country. Al-Kazemi was the director of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service since 2016.
