Iran Press/ Middle East: Iran's Ambassador to Kuwait, Mohammad Irani held a meeting with Kuwaiti Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid Al-Jarallah on Tuesday.
The two sides discussed the ways to expand cooperation as well as bilateral ties and the latest updates on the COVID-19 outbreak, Iran Press reported.
They also examined the halt of passenger flights from Kuwait to Iran and vice versa and its consequences.
The Coronavirus outbreak began in December 2019 in Wuhan, China, and appears to have been originated from non-domestic animals.
Chinese officials now admit that the virus probably spread in Wuhan in November or even earlier.
More than 3,100 people have died and over 90,000 have been infected worldwide. The vast majority of cases are in China.
