Sec-Gen of Iran\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s Youth Organization for Human Rights Amin Ansari

The Secretary-General of Youth Organization for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran said a lawsuit has been filed at international bodies against the US and Saudi regime's war crimes in Yemen.

Iran Press/Middle East: Amin Ansari said the lawsuit filed by the World's Youth Organization along with a group of Yemeni citizens against the US and Saudi regimes, which will soon be submitted to the UN and the International Court of Justice in Hague.

"The US and Saudis' crimes in Yemen are similar to those of the Zionists in Palestine," Ansari said.

He pointed out to the Yemeni crisis as a scar on the body of the Islamic Ummah and stressed that the world should support the Yemeni nation and punish the aggressors of the impoverished country.

Saudi Arabia started the war in Yemen in 2015 which has claimed the lives of thousands, wounded tens of thousands and dislocated millions of Yemenis and faced its poor Arab neighboring country with the severe shortage of food and medicine.

Over 6,000 children have either been killed or sustained serious injuries, the UN children’s agency said.

The humanitarian situation in the country has exacerbated by outbreaks of cholera, polio, and measles.
