Hezbollah Executive Council Deputy Chief Sheikh Ali Damush

Hezbollah Executive Council Deputy Chief Sheikh Ali Da'mush said Hezbollah firmly rejects US involvement in Lebanese internal affairs and will not allow Washington to use the Lebanese people's protests to change the balance of power in the country.

Iran Press/Middle East: Sheikh Ali Da'mush reiterated efforts should lead to the formation of a government that can meet the challenges facing Lebanon and respond to the demands of the Lebanese people, not the Americans will and aspirations.

"The United States and its puppets are working to incite society, block roads, cripple the country, and shut down people's lives in order to put pressure on them to fulfill their political goals and objectives in relation to the future government and its political priorities", he added.

He went on to add that US policies, sanctions, and actions against Lebanese banks, pressure on the country to prevent the use of its resources and wealth and exports of products to Syria, as well as Lebanon's participation in the Syrian reconstruction process and some other policies, has brought Lebanon to this stage of financial, economic and livelihood crisis.

Hezbollah Executive Council Deputy Chief underlined that resolving the country's economic and financial crisis, upholding the sovereignty, stability, and domestic peace and cooperation for all Lebanese, confronting devastating US policies, rejecting US demands and not allowing the US government to impose its conditions and options are all depend on Lebanese people.
