Qom (IP) - Nurses and medical staff at Kamkar Hospital in Qom, who are currently at the forefront of the fight against the Coronavirus, break their fast alongside the coronavirus patients and pray for the healing of the sick.

Iran PressIran News: Kamkar Hospital in Qom, as the first Coronavirus hospital in Iran, is still serving COVID-19 patients during the holy month of Ramadan.

The head of Qom University of Medical Sciences Mohammad-Reza Ghadir said on Monday: "Currently, 170 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized in Qom medical centers, and the general condition of 50 of them is not suitable."

Iranians and Muslims around the world are observing the holy month of Ramadan, as an unprecedented global pandemic is changing the celebration this year.

As the Coronavirus outbreak put restrictions on all social interactions, this year, holy Ramadan's mass ceremonies such as Iftar or Quran recitation, and mass prayers at holy sites have given way to individual prayers and worship at home.
