Zarif to Trump: Meet your needs instead of engaging threats

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister warned on Thursday the US would better meet its own needs instead of engaging the threats cheered on by Saddam's terrorists.

Iran PressIran NewsMohammad Javad Zarif in his latest tweet posted on Thursday wrote that the US Military, as well as US President, would better attend to their needs instead of engaging the threats desired by Saddam's terrorists.

Iran’s senior official also went on to warn that US forces have no business 7,000 miles away from home, provoking Iranian sailors off Persian Gulf shores which belongs to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

In a relevant development, the Spokesman of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi also reacted to US President Donald Trump’s so-called threat, stressing that today the Americans should do their best to save their forces, who have developed COVID-19, instead of bullying for other states.  

Foreign Minister and other Iranian political and military figures' reaction, came as the US President Donald Trump tweeted that he had instructed the United States Navy to shoot down and destroy any and all Iranian gunboats if they harass the US ships at sea.
