The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Minister of Health of the Autonomous Republic of Nakhchivan talked through telephone over the fight against the coronavirus.

Iran Press/Iran News: Seyyed Ahmad Hosseini, talking with Niazi Nowruzov pointed to the success of Iranian scientists and specialists in producing corona detection kits and said: "Iran is ready to help the Nakhchivan over fighting the coronavirus."

Nowruzov for his part presented a report on the latest measures taken and the conditions created by the outbreak of the coronavirus in Nakhchivan, saying that the situation is under control and that medical centers have been allocated for this purpose, Iran Press reported.

The Minister of Health of Nakhjavan added that the required items to fight the virus have been provided in an adequate amount by the Islamic Republic of Iran before the outbreak of the disease.

COVID-19 has infected more than 2,000,000 people around the world and killed at least 126,000 people, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
