Rouhani: Virtual education should be continued

Tehran (IP) - In a phone call with the Minister of Education, Iran's President Hassan Rouhani emphasized that the closure of educational spaces should not in any way mean the closure of education.

Iran PressIran News:  According to the presidential office, Hassan Rouhani in a phone conversation with the Minister of Education Mohsen Haji Mirzaei on Friday stated that students, as the future assets of the country, their training and education should not suffer from the Coronavirus outbreak, and with the use of cyberspace, there should be no shortage over education for families, students and teaching staff. 

In the conversation, Iran's President also emphasized the need for providing space and the possibility of training, education on cyberspace.

He stressed the need to ensure the security of information about students and teachers and the exclusivity of the educational environment in the assigned space.

Rouhani emphasized that the closure of educational spaces should not in any way mean the closure of education, he also praised the efforts of all teachers in the country to fulfill the slogan of 'closing the school during the fight against the Coronavirus, is not the closure of education'.

In this phone call, the Minister of Education also presented a report on the programs and measures taken.
