Iran Press/Iran news: Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on his televised speech on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Twelfth and last Shia Imam, Imam Mahdi (A.J) on Sha'ban 15th said that today all nations across the globe feel their need to the promised Savior.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei called the Coronavirus as ‘Modern Cholera’ and appreciated the Iranian nation for their work in the Coronavirus crisis.
Solving human problems requires spiritual, divine power
Leader of the Islamic Revolution said," Solving human problems requires a spiritual and divine power, so the great mission of Hazrat Mahdi (the Savior) is to establish justice in the world.
Ayatollah Khamenei congratulating Muslims and all freedom-seekers of the world noted, "Perhaps in human history, there has been a less period when all human beings all over the world need a savior as much as they do today. The elite consciously needs the savior and the masses unconsciously."
"These days, when people have experienced the different Ideologies and schools from communism to democracy and liberal democracy in the West, they still don't feel comfortable," the Leader said.
The mission of Savior is to establish justice in the world
The Leader of the Revolution said, "Despite all these astonishing progress, human beings still do not feel happiness. The problem of humanity is poverty, disease, prostitution, sin, injustice, inequality, the broad class divide."
"Today, powers misuse science, the discoveries of nature, and the abilities extracted from nature. These issues have made people all over the world feel tired and feel that someone needs to save them. Some people are in welfare but not comfortable, and scientific advances have not been able to make people happy," he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei stressed, "Some knots will not be untied with human progress. With science and technology, the knot of justice cannot be untied. Today's science is at the service of war and domination over nations. Solving human problems requires a spiritual and divine power, so the great mission of Hazrat Baqiyatullah is to establish justice in the world.
Corona showed the rich culture of Iran, Islam against the savage culture of West
The Leader of the Revolution stated, "One of the Western senators had said that the 'Wild West' has been revived. Some people are surprised when we say that a spirit of savagery rules the West, but they themselves admit it."
Leader of the Islamic Revolution said, "Corona is a test for governments and nations. The Iranian nation succeeded in the Corona test and the 'Modern Cholera'.
The Leader highlighted, "The fight against Corona in Iran was a great honor and this honor belongs to the hospital staff, volunteers, and the armed forces."
In another part of his speech, the Leader said, "Contrary to the wishes of those who want to humiliate the Iranian and Islamic culture, this Islamic and Iranian culture acted very strongly during the confrontation with Corona and shined greatly."
Corona clear evidence of failure for the philosophy of Western culture
Ayatollah Khamenei stated, "In the Corona period, what happened in Europe and the United States made it clear that Western education and culture have not been successful. During the period, we saw that a country was confiscating the gloves and face mask of another government and taking them to their country, and this happened several times, or people emptied shops in an hour or two."
The Leader of the Revolution highlighted, "Some people clashed for toilet paper and queued to buy weapons because they felt threatened. In some Western countries, patients were discriminated, and older people were not given priority in providing medical services."
"Some have committed suicide out of fear of death and Corona. These are behaviors that some Western nations have shown to be the logical consequence of the philosophy of Western culture, which, based on individualism, is disbelief in God," he added.
Ayatollah Khamenei further noted, "Another issue that Corona has shown is the general behavior of the Iranian nation in the practice of recommendations and instructions. When the National Task Force for Combating Corona issued a decisive order, the people followed it."
Corona a reminder for the oppression of the powers against innocent people
He also referred to a historic event and said, "Years ago, Saddam's planes entered Iran and dropped chemical bombs, killing and martyring many people, and Saddam was supported by Western countries".
Ayatollah Khamenei went on to say, "In the WWI and WWII, more than ten million people were killed. Many were killed in the Vietnam War. Recently, many people were killed and martyred in the attack on Iraq. When we think of Corona, we must not ignore the other important events that have taken place in the world and know that millions of people in Yemen, Palestine, are suffering under the oppression of the powers. So the Corona issue should not distract us from the conspiracies of the enemies."
Ayatollah Khamenei said, "Arrogance has enmity with the principle of the Islamic Republic."
Mid-Sha’ban, the fifteenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, marks the joyous occasion. Imam Mahdi, known as the Savior, was born almost 1,200 years ago.
Every year, millions of Muslims around the world hold festivities to honor the event.
This year, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus in Iran, there is be no public gathering and mass celebrations for the auspicious occasion.
