Tehran (IP) - Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health in Iran announced that so far, 60,500 people in the country have definitely been infected with the Coronavirus and 3,739 people have died due to the virus.

Iran PressIran News: “ Kianoush Jahanpour on Monday about the latest data on the deadly coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus said: “2,274 new patients with COVID-19 have been identified in past 24 hours."

He said, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to April 6 in the country, 2,274 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 60,500 ."

Fortunately, 24,236 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour added.

The head of the Ministry of Public Relations Center said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 136 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives so 3,739 people have lost their lives in the country to the date."

He stated, "4,083 patients are in a critical condition."
