The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi

Tehran (IP)- The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi reacted to the anti- Iran claims made by the Zionist regime which is also pursued by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) saying the IAEA should not serve as the supplementary tool for intelligence service of the states.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Salehi reiterated that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) by taking such measures is going to undermind its independent supervisory role and it will not act according to legal principles.

Iran's top official highlighted that IAEA should not endorse espionage activities that violate the sovereign rights of other countries and the rights governing international relations through the verification of such information.

Stressing the fact that Iran's nuclear activities are being carried out with no limitations, Salehi urged that the 5 steps have so far focused on technical activities, and as commitments continue to be reduced, legal aspects such as the revision of the Additional Protocol and the Non-Proliferation Treaty known as NPT can be addressed.
