Iran Press/ Iran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press about the comments on Iran's official figures pertaining to Coronavirus patients, Kianoush Jahanpour said on Tuesday: "The number of Coronavirus patients in each country could be 20 to 40 times more than what official statistics show because 18 percent of patients don't have any symptoms or many of patients may never visit medical centers."
Jahanpour also noted that the official figures will certainly go higher as screening operations have been stepped up.
Referring to the recent talk between Iran's Health Minister and the Director-General of WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom, Jahanpour said that Dr. Tedros praised the national mobilization plan in Iran and expressed his hope that the plan would have positive effects in fighting with Coronavirus.
elsewhere in this interview, the Health Ministry Spokesman also said that health teams monitor people's commute in city entrances in a protective measure against Coronavirus.
"In case that any of the citizen Covid-19 test turned positive, they are either returned to hospitals or quarantined and their commute will be canceled," Jahanpour said. 207
