Tehran (IP)- Referring to Iran's entanglement with Coronavirus these days, Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education said that the favored approach is through a persuasive and participatory framework.

Iran Press/Iran news: Kianoush Jahanpour, spokesman for Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said: "In the field of health, our aim is to follow participatory persuasion patterns, and police and disciplinary behavior somehow are not often found in new paradigms. Also, the maximum result is achieved when we see the public's participation in which through guidance models are used and in this way we can promote people's health knowledge and somehow share their own health to further health knowledge."

Kianoush Jahanpour added, "Our approach to dealing with Coronavirus will be inclusive of a persuasive and participatory framework."

But at the same time, disciplinary measures will also be used in a few cases that go against the guidelines.

Referring to Iran's entanglement with Coronavirus these days, Tehran announced last night the travel restrictions of the two provinces of Mazandaran and Gilan. At the same time, some foreign media outlets described the move as too late.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Medical Education said about the importance of health diplomacy, which Iran has activated seriously in the last couple of weeks.

"Health diplomacy will be the gateway to other diplomatic spheres. However, this is a common theme among countries that the health issues should and are not linked to politics, and the approach we have in Iran is not to link health issues to politics," he added.
