Qom (IP) - A 180-bed field hospital is being built in the Holy city of Qom, 170 km south of Tehran to provide the patients infected with COVID-19 with more healthcare services.

Iran PressIran news: The install and launch operation of the field hospital has been started in cooperation with the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC)'s ground forces and IRGC's Shahid Sadouqi hospital in Isfahan on Monday evening in Noor cultural complex located in Power Plant district of Qom.

The hospital is formed from various units including emergency (men and women), separate and advanced operating rooms, radiology department, inpatient ward for both men and women and pharmacy.

Furthermore, there are patients diagnosed with COVID-19 disease, caused by the coronavirus, who are hospitalized in Forqani, Kamkar, Imam Reza (PBUH) and Ali ibn Abi Talib hospitals.

The Qom University of Medical Sciences has announced that so far, 140 people have been infected with coronavirus in Qom province, of which more than 80 COVID-19 patients have been recovered.
