Tehran (IP) - On Wednesday, the Anti-Corona Headquarters convened a meeting in Tehran and the Minister of Health and the Head of the Emergency Operations Center, briefed reporters on the decisions made at the meeting.

Iran Press/Iran news: Dr. Saeed Namaki, said that the establishment of the Provincial Headquarters to combat Coronavirus, restrictions on commuting of suspected infected individuals, three days of school closures in the infected provinces; and a week closure for universities.

Namaki said classes will be held by distance-learning and with the help of braodcasting media.

The Minister of Health and the Head of the Anti-Corona Headquarters also announced a restriction on entry to the pilgrimage sites and Holy Shrines, while announcing that Friday prayers would not be held in the contaminated areas, Iran Press reported.

Dr. Namaki also welcomed the rising of people who have recovered in the country especially about 30 confirmed cases in Qom.

Now, Iran's medical capacity is capable of controlling the virus in the shortest possible time. Iran, which in the most difficult times, has been the ultimate victor, will also emerge victorious from the Corona upheaval.

The virus has now spread to more than 40 other countries around the world. According to the latest statistics, more than 81,000 people have been infected with the virus in the world, of which more than 30,000 have recovered and more than 2,700 died.
