Iran Press/Iran news: Thanking the country's medical staff, Iran's Minister of Health Saeed Namaki, said: "Yesterday during a meeting, President Hassan Rouhani pointed to the situation getting gradually normal. We have mobilized teams across Iran and set up 40 laboratories across the country."
Namaki further noted, "A significant number of our hospitalized patients are being discharged, having fully recovered, which is good news, and today 30 new patients are being discharged from Qom."
Commenting on the reopening or continuing closure of schools and universities, Namaki said, "We will inform the public this evening at 16:00 local time. Unfortunately, as soon as the schools were closed this week, people started traveling. When we announce the closure of schools and universities, it does not mean traveling from polluted to non-polluted places and vice versa."
Addressing the public, the health minister said my request is that people stay in their homes and follow health ministry guidelines.
