Iran Press/Iran News: Rahim Hayat Qureshi, the newly-appointed Pakistani ambassador to Tehran, met with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif at the start of his mission in Iran earlier on Tuesday morning, Foreign Ministry website reported.
"Today I met the Foreign Minister of Iran H.E Javad Zarif and presented copies of my credentials. The meeting was warm and cordial with all issues of mutual interest coming under discussion. Both sides have pledged to fight the menace of Coronavirus jointly", Rahim Hayat Qureshi tweeted.

In this meeting, Zarif conveyed his warmest regards to the Pakistani leadership and appreciated the stance taken by Pakistan with respect to peace in the region.
"I thanked him and the Iranian leadership for its principled stance on the issue of Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir," Qureshi posted on his Twitter page.
Qureshi also met Director-General for West Asia Rasoul Mousavi. "Delighted to meet the very seasoned and erudite Director-General for West Asia at the Iranian Foreign Office. I had a very useful and productive exchange of views on how to further improve our fraternal ties", he wrote.
Rafat Masood, the former ambassador of Pakistan, ended her tenure in early November 2019, because of retirement, and before leaving Tehran, she met Zarif and bid farewell to the foreign minister. 211/104
