Tehran (IP) - The Head of Ayatollah Khamenei’s Office said that people's votes in the ballot boxes mean renewing allegiance with the Islamic Revolution, adding that the enemy cannot bear this.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Head of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's Office, Ayatollah Mohammad Mohammadi-Golpayegani, said in his speech at the Ministry of Interior on Friday, 21 February, that a country where its ruling system is based on the election is unpleasant for enemies as they try to stop it through military, cultural and media tools.

He added that the crime of the Iranian nation is that they do not bow down to the enemy and one of its symptoms is holding the election.

Mohammadi-Golpayegani referred to the million-man funeral of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani inside and outside of the country, especially in Iraq, and said the enemy gets nowhere as long as people stand by like what they did in taking part at General Soliemani's funeral.

The senior official highlighted that the Iranian nation has deep insight, distinguishing enemy from a friend and making a decision for their future, as the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei noted participating in the election as a religious duty.
