Tehran (IP) - The Secretary-General of UNESCO National Commission in Iran Hojjatullah Ayoubi has said that the politics' world is the world of conflict, but the cultural world is the world of spirituality and unity.

Iran PressIran news: Speaking at the Forum on the Preservation of Cultural Sites, the Secretary-General of UNESCO National Commission in Iran, Hojjatullah Ayoubi referring to the commemoration of two prominent Iranian personalities said that Iran will celebrate Farabi in the next two years and also will begin commemorating Attar Neyshaburi this year.

"The politics' world is the world of conflict, but the cultural world is the world of spirituality and unity, that is why the threat of destruction of cultural monuments and world heritage considered as injuring the soul and human family," Ayoubi said.

Ayoubi added: "Accordingly when the cultural monuments around us are destroyed, the world becomes mournful because the human soul is injured." 207
