Iran Press/ Iran news: Heavy rains since Thursday 9 January have affected almost all southern provinces of the country, especially Sistan and Baluchestan, causing damages to homes, farms, agricultural facilities, roads, and infrastructure.
At least 1,248 people trapped by the floods were rescued in some 40 towns and villages throughout Sistan and Baluchestan.
The unprecedented flash floods have hit 350 villages in recent days, damaging thousands of residential buildings.
