Tweet of Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif

Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister tweeted about Monday's massive crowds in the funeral ceremony of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani in Tehran and all the cities across Iran and outside of Iran, asking US President: "Have you ever seen such a sea of humanity in your life?"

Iran PressIran News: "Do you still want to listen to the clowns advising you on our region? And do you still imagine you can break the will of this great nation and its people?" the Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in his tweet on Monday.

"End of malign US presence in West Asia has begun," Zarif noted.

The farewell ceremony of Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani and his martyred companions was held in Tehran; one of the world's largest funeral processions with the attendance of millions of Iranians.

The massive presence of people packed the Enghelab street from Imam Hussein Square to Azadi Square with an 11 km distance.

The United States terrorist forces assassinated Qasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s pro-government Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) — better known as Hashd al-Sha’abi — in an airstrike at Baghdad’s international airport early on Friday.

As Iraqi caretaker Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said, Lieutenant General Soleimani was invited to Iraq to convey the message of Iranian officials about Tehran- Riyadh ties to him.
