Iran First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri

Tehran (IP) - Iran's First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri on Thursday called the United States as a liar, over the US baseless claim of not imposing any sanctions against medicine in the Islamic country.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at the ceremony to commemorate National Nurse day at Milad Tower in Tehran, Eshaq Jahangiri said that Iran has dealt with 6 powers in its nuclear agreement, but the US withdrew from it illegally.

Jahangiri went on to highlight that the United States lies when it says it has not imposed sanctions on Iran's medicine. "it sanctioned our oil and financial transaction", he added.

The first vice president further explained that where ever the US shows its face and appears in the region, insecurity will appear too and people of Iraq or Afghanistan never felt safe by the US presence in these countries.

"Iraqi people blame and condemn the US over the incidents and unrests," Jahangiri highlighted.

Jahangiri also called Iran as a peaceful nation that has never started a war. He also expressed hope the year 2020 would be peaceful for all the world including the Iranian nation so that they can overcome their problems.

Elsewhere, he referred to Iran's economy as the biggest economic power saying Iran's government has decided to have more interaction with the world. He concluded to say that 14 percent of Iran's whole budget has been allocated to Health and treatment sector.

Jahangiri's words came in Commemorating National Nurse Day ceremony held at Milad Tower, Tehran, Thursday morning, attended by, Saeed Namaki, Health minister and acclaimed nurses from all over the country to be honored over their non-stop efforts and services on Jan 2, 2020. 207
