Iran Press/ Iran news: Iranian Yalda Night celebration is scheduled to be held at Sa'dabad Complex from 27 to 30 Azar (corresponding to 18 to 21 December). Visitors can visit the booths from 9:00 a.m local time to 18:00 pm. In addition, Yalda ceremonies will be held from 14:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.
Yalda night is an Iranian festival celebrated on the longest and darkest night of the year. Calendrically, this corresponds to the night between the last day of the ninth month (Azar) and the first day of the tenth month (Dey) of the Iranian calendar.
Yalda night is a time when friends and family members gather together to eat, drink and read poetry (especially Hafez) until well after midnight. 207/211/219
