Iran's Minister of Industry, Mining, and Commerce stressed all of the facilities should be mobilized to help the earthquake-hit people in Mianeh, Eastern Azarbaijan province, northwest of Iran.

Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking to the reporters ahead of his meeting on Resistance Economy on Friday in Eastern Azarbaijan about earthquake damages, the Minister of Industry, Mining, and Commerce Reza Rahmani said that at the moment we have no details about the damages inflicted by the earthquake.

He stressed that helping and rescuing the disaster-hit people as well as cleaning up the region is a top priority.

Rahmani also mentioned that President Hassan Rouhani, the Interior Minister Mohammad Reza Rahmani Fazli, and First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri are doing their best since the very beginning of the incident, issuing the necessary commands to help the earthquake-hit region.

The Minister of Industry, Mining, and Commerce emphasized that calmness is necessary to be kept in the quake-hit areas so that the rescuers could do their work effectively.

Following the incident, the Minister canceled his plans on Friday, including attendance to the Non-Oil Export Development Task Force as well as the closing ceremony of Rinotex expo in the Tabriz Industrial Exhibition Center.

At least six people have been killed and 352 injured in the earthquake that hit the area in the early hours of Friday morning.
