Iran Press/ Iran news: Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani in an open session of parliament, appreciated the Iraqi people and government for hosting the Arbaeen pilgrims, saying: "Iraqi people showed that they had a heart-to-heart connection with the Iranians, and they will thwart the evil conspiracies of the enemy."
According to Iran Press, Larijani pointed to 13 Aban (4 November), Student Day in Iran, describing the day as a symbol of the struggle against colonialism, which represented the depth of the thinking of Iranian students and thinkers.
He went on to say: "The Americans tried in many ways to harm Iran but they failed every time. They did a lot of adventures. They encouraged Saddam to attack Iran. They also encouraged terrorists to kill people. They imposed various sanctions against the Iranian people and described all these plots as grounds for friendship with the Iranian people, claiming that they are with the Iranian people."
The Iranian Speaker highlighted: "Fortunately, the US president spoke foolishly. Donald Trump, after the death of top terrorist and Daesh leader, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, confessed that the US is only looking for Syria's oil. He added that oil is important and that the Turkey-Syria conflict does not matter to White House leaders."

Larijani added: "Trump apparently does not realize that Syrian oil and soil belong to the people of Syria. Of course, Trump and the US government have made great efforts to control Iraqi oil, but the Iraqi authorities and the vigilant Iraqi people have not allowed them to do so."
Larijani stated that Trump also said that the US doesn't care about Turks and the Kurds, and even the Iranian people. Only their oil is important to the US. These remarks show that they are trying to control the country through an economic blockade."

He noted that Americans do not need to be sympathetic to the Iranian nation. They should be careful to keep their president's mouth close. Undoubtedly, the vigilant people of the region will thwart the plots of the US as they eliminated ISIS terrorists.
