Iran Press/Iran News: Commander in Chief of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Major General Hussein Salami made the remarks Thursday on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of 1,200 projects in Alborz Province, north of Iran, saying: "Our country is the focal point of all the divine blessings. Iran's dignity is entitled to welfare and we must try to reach that."
"The leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is a blessing of God. He has emphasized that fighting with poverty is our priority," he added.
Salami noted that the Leader's concern is people's serenity and dignity.
He went on to say that Iran has built power plants, refineries, and dams under the US sanctions, noting: "We need a strong movement, so we have to move between cities and villages and build Iran and stun the enemies."
The top general then praised the Iranian nation's resistance, noting that the nation's armed forces defeat and crush the enemies in case of any aggression.
General Salami said that all of the successes and victories achieved by the Iranian nation owes to their obedience to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
