Tehran (IP) - The Hosseini Infancy Conference held in different cities across Iran.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Hosseini infancy conference started in different cities throughout Iran on Friday morning.

The event is held every year in commemoration of Ali al-Asghar, the six-month-old baby boy of Imam Hossein (AS) who was the youngest person killed in the Battle of Karbala.

Many Iranian mothers dress their babies in special green and white clothes in order to attend the conference.

The cloths are said to resemble the clothing of Ali al-Asghar. Babies also wear a headband with the name of Ali al-Asghar written on it. 101/207
