Iran Press/ Europe: Russia's permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov on Sunday (today) reacted to US claims about the launch of Iran's military satellite, accusing the United States of hypocrisy and double standards.
Mikhail Ulyanov stated “the US government claims that the launch of Iran's satellite violates UN Security Council Resolution 2231, but this interpretation is incorrect. Another point is that Washington is trying to damage the same resolution by any means.”
He added, “The United States has a hypocritical approach and double standards.”
'Noor', as the first military satellite of the Islamic Republic of Iran, was launched on Wednesday (April 22) morning and placed it into the orbit at an altitude of 425 km. This is considered as a great achievement in the Iranian space industry.
The IRGC's military-spatial success, on the anniversary of its founding amid the US unilateral sanctions, proved once again that nothing can block the way of progress.
