Iran Press/ Europe: The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus Saeed Yari met with the Belarus Minister of Industry Pavel Utyupin.
During the meeting on Thursday, April 2, the latest economic and trade cooperation between the two countries and the time and arrangements for the 15th meeting of the Joint Economic Commission were discussed.
The two sides also discussed ways to expand Iran-Belarus cooperation in various economic, industrial and commercial sectors.
On March 1, Iran's ambassador to Belarus held talks with Belarus' Healthcare Minister Vladimir Karanik on the phone to discuss the bilateral cooperation to fight against COVID-19.
During a telephone conversation, Iran's ambassador to Belarus, Saeed Yari, discussed with Belarusian Minister of Health Vladimir Karanik on how to support Iranian students and promote their health, as well as the two countries' cooperation in the fight against the spread of Coronavirus.
Head of Public Relations and Information Center of the Ministry of Health announced that so far, 53,183 people in the country have definitely been infected with the Coronavirus, 3,294 people have died due to the virus and 17,935 have recovered and discharged.
