Joint declaration of five countries on Ukrainian plane crash

Following a joint meeting in London, Foreign ministers of Canada, Ukraine, Sweden, Afghanistan and the United Kingdom which some of their citizens died on the Ukrainian plane crash, in a joint statement, acknowledged Iran's cooperation while stressing the need for its continuation.

Iran PressEurope: Foreign Ministers from five countries who lost citizens in the passenger jet, held a meeting at the Canadian embassy in London without the presence of an Iranian representative but with a Polish representative.

They agreed to pursue cooperation with Iran regarding the Ukrainian plane crash with full transparency and fairness.

All 176 passengers aboard the Boeing 737 lost their lives among whom were 140 Iranians and nationals from other countries including Britain and Ukraine.

Iran has started an internal investigation on the causes of the fatal human error and promised cooperation with authorized international bodies.
