Iran Press/ Europe: Donald Tusk said on Wednesday that Trump has welcomed Britain’s decision to leave the EU, labeling Europe a trade 'foe' and questioning the value of the transantlantic defense alliance NATO, Reuters reported.
European Council President added that it is the first time in history that an American president is openly against a united Europe.
Tusk also blamed Trump for weakening the EU, called him the most difficult challenge for the organization.
Relations between the US and the EU have always been strained since the start of the Trump presidency. 207
