The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Oil and Gas Supply Institute

Tehran (IP) - In a meeting between the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Head of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Oil and Gas Supply Institute, the two sides reviewed ways of cooperation in the energy sector.

Iran PressIran news: The Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyyed Ahmad Hosseini referred to the importance of the energy sector in the cooperation of regional countries, stressing Iran's capacities in supplying its neighbors' needs in this field.

Head of Oil and Gas Supply Institute in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Behrouz Azimov described the recent fluctuations in the energy market as an important event in energy trade which would have vast effects on economic activities of different countries.

"Economy of countries with energy resources would face different challenges," he added.

Also, the two sides expressed their hope to have bilateral cooperation in the post-coronavirus situation.
