Iran Ambassador to Islamabad Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini met Pakistan Minister of Water Resources Faisal Vawda

Islamabad (IP) - Iran's ambassador to Islamabad announced Tehran's readiness to develop technical cooperation with Pakistan on water resources management and dam construction.

Iran PressAsia: During a meeting with Pakistan's Minister of Water Resources Faisal Vawda, Iran's Ambassador to Islamabad Seyyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini outlined the latest bilateral relations in various political and economic spheres and emphasized the comprehensive development of Iran-Pakistan ties.

Faisal Vawda welcomed the close cooperation between the two countries in water management and dam construction, pointing out the importance of Islamabad-Tehran relations to Pakistani authorities.

Vawda also stressed the need for more cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in line with the interests of the Muslim world.

The two officials discussed current level of bilateral ties and the common opportunities available between Iran and Pakistan to strengthen relations.

Minister for Water Resources said that Pakistan values its ties with Iran which are of prime importance for the Pakistani leadership.
