Iran ambassador to Yerevan Abbas Zohouri ( R) And Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Tigran Khachatryan (L)

Iran’s ambassador to Yerevan and the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia discussed strengthening joint trade cooperation and the elimination of obstacles on the way of the transactions due to the spread of the Coronavirus.

Iran PressAsia: Abbas Zohouri and Tigran Khachatryan discussed on Wednesday the step-by-step removal of the restrictions and holding expert meetings in the coming days.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the issuance of visas and the activity of airlines on the Tehran-Yerevan route, Iran Press reported.

Earlier in the special Committee meeting on Prevention of Corona Virus in Armenia, the Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan emphasized the importance of continuing trade relations with Iran and urged the Armenian Minister of Economy to take action to remove any obstacles to trade between the two countries.

‏The Coronavirus, officially known as Covid-19, was first detected in Wuhan, China, and has now spread to more than 120 countries.
