China Foreign Affairs Director visited Iran's embassy in China and delivered the aid package of Beijing municipality to Iran's ambassador.

Iran PressAsia: The package consists of 1850 boxes of protective dress, mask, gloves, and helmet that was delivered to Iran's embassy in China.

Speaking with Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in China, the Chinese official express the empathy and companionship of Beijing's people with Iranian people in fighting with coronavirus, Iran Press reported.

He also called reinforcing the relationship between the two nations, especially the bond between Tehran and Beijing.

Keshavarzzadeh expressed his hope that the consulate measures in China could meet a part of Iran's needs.

COVID-19 was first detected in China's Wuhan in late December and has since spread across the world. In late January, the World Health Organisation declared a global health emergency in light of the epidemic

The coronavirus erupted in Wuhan, China, late last year and has since infected more than 111,000 people globally and led to over 3,900 deaths.
