"All the people should participate in presidential election despite their differences. We all know that they decided about the result of the election beforehand but this should not become a barrier in the way of people's participation in the election," One Egyptian citizen said.
"I am from South of Egypt and I will participate in the election, actually all the people in south of the country will do the same", Another citizen said.
Meanwhile, Shawki Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt urged the Egyptians to participate actively in presidential election and said: " people should participate in the election in order to put themselves in the path of the country's benefits".
"It does not matter whom Egyptians vote for but the important thing is that participation in the election is w?jib(religious duty)", The Grand Mufti of Egypt added.
Millions of voters in Egypt will begin to head to the polls on Monday, in a three-day presidential election that political analysts say already has a determined outcome.
Voters will choose between two presidential candidates; incumbent president Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and El-Ghad Party chairperson, Moussa Mostafa Moussa.
In 2014, when Sisi first ran for president, less than half of the eligible voters cast their ballot, with the former military commander receiving 96.9 percent of the votes. Critics called it a sham election, however.
This year, the economy has emerged as one of the top concerns in the minds of Egyptian voters.
