Iran Press/Asia: According to Iran Press News Agency from Islamabad, the participants in the ceremony, which was hosted by the House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore, including Persian learners and students, read Rudaki's poems and discussed and exchanged views on the messages and human concepts contained in his poems.
"Asghar Masoudi," head of the House of Culture of Iran in Lahore, referred to Rudaki's role in the formation of Persian poetry in his speech and said: "By reviving Persian poetry and linking it with human emotions, Rudaki transformed the literature of this language and initiated a new era."
Masoudi also added that Rudaki, with his rich nature and profound vision, was able to revive Persian poetry and turn it into a tool for creating subtle themes and poetic images.
"Professor Ahmadyar" also introduced Rudaki at the ceremony as the first great Persian-speaking poet who was able to raise the impact of poetry to the highest possible level with his simple poems.
This Pakistani writer read some of Rudaki's poems to the audience and explained the valuable human messages contained in these poems.
This ceremony, which was held with the aim of creating an opportunity to strengthen cultural relations between Iran and Pakistan and to promote the Persian language and literature, was warmly welcomed by the audience and those interested in Iranian culture and art.
