The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), Ali Akbar Salehi has said new achievements in peaceful civilian nuclear science and technology will be unveiled on 9 April 2019, Iran's national nuclear technology day.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on Saturday afternoon at a cultural festival in the town of Savejbollagh, near Tehran, Ali Akbar Salehi emphasized that the fruits of new research will be unveiled on 9 April, thanks to the efforts of young Iranian scientists and engineers, Iran Press reported.

Salehi stressed that all Iranians should thank the Almighty for the blessings that Islam has brought them, and for having young intelligent innovative and creative scientists and researchers who have served this nation well, and who have made us all proud.

Commenting further Salehi said: "Islamic Iran is standing tall, thanks to the scientific capabilities and talents of its young researchers and scientists, who have emerged with flying colors despite all the pressures imposed upon them."

On February 2, the head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), emphasized that Iranian scientists and engineers have complete mastery over nuclear science and technology.

The first art and culture festival of the town of Savejbollagh in Alborz province was held on Saturday, attended by the governor of Alborz province and the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI), Ali Akbar Salehi, and a number of other provincial officials. The festival was divided into several sections including Literature, Art, Music, Film, Theatre, and Calligraphy. 211/103
