Iran Press/ Commentary: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in the meeting with the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement and the accompanying delegation, considered the conditions of the Zionist regime to be very different compared to seventy years ago and emphasized: "The Zionist enemy today is in a position of passivity and reaction, and these conditions show that resistance and jihad groups in Islamic Palestine have known the path correctly and are moving forward in this direction.
Ayatollah Khamenei, in a meeting with the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, "Ziyad al-Nakhale" and the accompanying delegation, congratulated the Islamic Jihad on the victory of the recent battle in Gaza and emphasized that the Islamic Jihad and other Palestinian resistance groups have found the key to fight against the Zionist regime. His Eminence added: "The increasing power of the resistance groups in the West Bank is the key to bringing the Zionist enemy to its knees, and this path must continue."
These statements of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution can be seen as an observation of the realities that have made the weakening of the Zionist regime more visible after decades of occupation and crime; Now, internal crises and political mistakes, and the erosion of the Zionist regime on the one hand, and the increasing equipping of resistance groups, as well as the increase of international support for the rights of the Palestinian people on the other hand, have doubled the hopes for the annihilation of this fake regime and the freedom of the Holy Al-Quds.
The widespread street protests in recent months in the occupied territories in response to the judicial reform plan of the Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the increase in disagreement in the Knesset, the inability to form a coherent cabinet, the increase in distrust of the residents of the occupied territories in political leaders and the reverse migration of Zionists are examples of the problems that the occupying regime of Al-Quds is dealing with internally.
In the regional and international arena, the Zionist regime is facing difficult conditions because, after 75 years of efforts by the Zionists and their supporters, especially the United States, this regime is now more discredited at the international level than ever. The march of many people in different countries, including the United States, on International Quds Day and the declaration of support for the Palestinian people is proof of this claim and the discrediting of the Zionist regime in the world.
At the same time, the decrease of American influence in the region as the main ally of the Zionist regime and the increase of convergence among Islamic countries also indicate that the course of developments in the region is taking place contrary to the wishes of the Zionist regime.
Another important point that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution mentioned is the issue of the authority of the resistance groups, which can bring the occupying regime of Al-Quds to its knees. Now the Palestinian resistance forces in Gaza and the West Bank of the Jordan River, as well as Islamic countries, are both stronger and more united than in the past, which is confirmed by the victory of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement in the recent 5-day war.
