Iran Press/ Asia: In an interview with Iran press' correspondent in Ankara, the Deputy head of Turkiye's Felicity Party referred to Imam Khomeini's lofty goals in achieving the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution and stated that after the revolution, two important points in the policies implemented by Imam Khomeini attract attention, one of which was the uprising against global imperialism with the formation of an alliance of Islamic countries, and the other was hoisting the flag of resistance for the fight for Palestine and the holy Al-Quds.
Hasan Bitmez said that in order to achieve these two goals, Imam Khomeini tried with all his might until his last breath to unite Islamic countries under the banner of supporting Palestine and Al-Quds, and by declaring the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the International Quds Day, he succeeded in placing this issue as the most important issue for Muslims in the world.
Noting that Imam Khomeini was the leader and pioneer of the Islamic world in the last decades of the 20th century, Bitmez added that Imam Khomeini conveyed his message to the people well and was able to conquer hearts and transform the society intellectually and ultimately bring victory to the Islamic revolution.
He said that Imam Khomeini, in the process of the revolution, attracted not only the all-round support of the people, but also the support of the intellectuals and members of the society by giving importance to their thoughts.
Bitmez stated that even after his death, Imam Khomeini's followers never removed these two issues from the top of the goals of the revolution, and they always kept Imam's thoughts alive, materially and spiritually, to ensure unity and equality among Muslim countries, standing and common resistance against global imperialism and Zionism, as well as supporting the Palestinian cause.
