Tehran(IP): The Governor General of the Central Bank of Iran left Tehran for Washington to meet and talk with the officials of the International Monetary Fund.

Iran PressIran News: Mohamedreza Farzin, the governor of the Central Bank of Iran, is accompanied by the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) for international affairs Mohsen Karimi, on his trip to the US.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund.

The International Monetary Fund recently published a report in its statistical database, pointing to the increase of 141 billion dollars in the Islamic Republic of Iran's gross domestic product in 2022, and introduced Iran's economy as the 22nd largest economy in the world this year.

Mohammed Mokhber, the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, at the 51st meeting of the Asian Trade Union, referring to the statistics published by the International Monetary Fund, said that in 2022, in terms of the purchasing power parity index, Iran's gross domestic product was 1,600 billion dollars.
