Tehran(IP)- Accompanied by the first vice president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Sultan of Oman left Tehran.

Iran PressIran News: The Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and his delegation left Tehran today (Monday) accompanied by the First Vice President, Mohammad Mokhbar, and ended their two-day trip.

The Sultan of Oman met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution on the second day of this trip ( Monday) and after this meeting, he left Tehran accompanied by Mohammad Mokhbar.

The Sultan of Oman visited Tehran on Sunday heading a political and economic delegation in order to strengthen the long-standing and friendly relations between Tehran and Muscat and expand cooperation between the two countries.

On the first day of the trip, Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, after being officially received at Saad Abad historical-cultural complex, had a private meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, and the delegations of the two countries also held political and economic consultations.

The achievement of the trip was the signing of four cooperation documents in the fields of economy, investment, and energy, as well as cooperation in the field of free zones.

The foreign ministers of Iran and Oman also announced in a press conference the development of a comprehensive strategic plan for cooperation between Iran and Oman.
