Tehran (IP)- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called on the OPEC member states to care about the division the Western countries try to cast among them.

Iran PressIran News: In a meeting with OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al-Ghais on Saturday, Ebrahim Raisi said that the Islamic Republic of Iran will increase cooperation with OPEC members to unite the member states further.

Highlighting the protection of the oil producers' rights as the foundation of the OPEC establishment, the Iranian president expressed hope that the body could control turmoils in the oil market and stabilize it. 

The Secretary General of OPEC Haitham Al-Ghais, for his part, highlighted Iran's effective cooperation with the organization and stated that Iran's ministerial-technical cooperation has united OPEC members.

Al-Ghais expressed hope that the unity of OPEC members along with the support of Iran will stabilize the oil market.
