Iran Press/ Iran news: Speaking at Imam Khomeini Mausoleum on Thursday, Iran's foreign minister, Hossein Amir Abdollahian added: "We have been negotiating for months over the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and the exchange of messages between parties continues. Some foreign ministers also tried to conclude the negotiations."
in the gathering of ambassadors and heads of missions, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian emphasized that this year's ambassadors' seminar is being held with the slogan of "Transformation in the world order and the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran".
He went on to say that Imam Khomeini demonstrated the fact in practice many years ago, with the victory of the Islamic revolution and his leadership in the international arena.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs added: "In foreign policy, we have learned the motto of the Islamic Republic, neither East nor West, and whenever the diplomatic apparatus takes a position in looking at the East or the West, which goes against the slogan, we witness people's protest. The effect of Imam's theory is still the priority of people's opinion after three decades. Political independence was the negation of the lessons we learned from Imam Khomeini."
Referring to the Imam's attention to the oppressed, he said: "The issue of Palestine and the liberation of the holy Quds is still on the agenda in foreign policy."
Referring to the region, FM said: "We still have challenges in the region, parallel to the subsidence of the war in Yemen, it started in Sudan. We clearly told the Afghan's ruling body that we do not officially recognize them and demanded the formation of a comprehensive government."
Referring to the country's economic situation, he added: "The effects of the Coronavirus, the war in Ukraine, and the sanctions on the economy are undeniable, and despite the progress in various sectors, we need work in this area, and we have a special focus on this issue."
Later, Seyyed Hassan Khomeini, the grandson of Imam Khomeini, pointing out that the Islamic Revolution has gone through brilliant periods, said: "There were frameworks in all the periods before and after the revolution. The more extensive the forecast, the better the result."
Finally, the Minister of Foreign Affairs along with the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassadors, and heads of embassies paid respect to the great position of Imam Khomeini and renewed the pact with the ideals of him."
