IRAN (IP)- The Minister of the Interior Ahmad Vahidi emphasized that the martyrdom of six Iranian border guards was a criminal act, and a decisive response will await their perpetrators, supporters, and masterminds.

Iran PressIran news: Six border guards of Saravan county of Sistan and Baluchistan province of Iran were martyred in clashes with a terrorist outfit on Sunday, 21 May 2023. 

In an interview with Iran Press on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting, Ahmad Vahidi underlined that the crime will not go unanswered.

Referring to his meeting with the Minister of Public Security of Vietnam General To Lam, the Iranian official said: "The development of bilateral relations between Iran and Vietnam is emphasized by both sides and in this regard, a security memorandum was signed between the two countries."

Vahidi noted that there is a common understanding between the two countries of Iran and Vietnam and both sides want to expand relations.
