Tehran (IP) - Iran's Ministry of Intelligence has dismantled an affiliated network with the foreign intelligence service.

Iran PressIran News: On Tuesday, the Ministry of Intelligence announced the discovery of a foreign spy organization missioned with collecting Iranian travelers' data and arresting its agents.

The ministry added: "During the constant surveillance of hostile spy organizations, information was obtained about the focus of one of the services on Iranian travelers abroad."

"Continuous monitoring clarified that among Iranian travelers those with expertise, high ranks, and sensitive positions are targeted," the Ministry of Intelligence stated.

The announcement noted: "Aforementioned information, extensive intelligence, counter-intelligence and technical measures, inside and outside of the country, led to the identification of a network of links and executive agents in several organizations and institutions in Iran."
